The drive to fund education excellence at CKMS has begun!

CKMS is holding its 2nd Annual Hawk-A-Thon—the biggest fundraiser of our school year—on Friday, September 16th. Students will run a fun and healthy relay event on the track at school. With the music playing and healthy snacks on hand, each grade will participate in teams of six students to raise funds and school spirit for their middle school.

Get corporate matching for your donation if your employer matches charitable contributions. Examples of companies that provide corporate matching include Adobe, Boeing, Expedia, Fidelity, Gap, Google, Intel, Microsoft, Puget Sound Energy, SAFECO, State Farm, Waste Management, and many, many more. If you have any questions about whether your employer offers corporate matching (many do), contact your human resources or community relations office. Contact Lori Hollasch with any questions about matching your donation.

There are two special turn-in dates through which students can earn prizes:

• Thursday, September 8th – First turn-in date
• Thursday, September 15th – Second turn-in date

Donations can still be turned in after the event – all donations are appreciated.

Students Earn Great Prizes for their Fundraising Efforts

Prizes range from a Hawk logo water bottle and tattoo (for all students) – to T-shirts and smoothies – to a Limo Lunch Cruise and even a Wild Waves One Day Pass. Teams that run 4 miles or more during the hour will receive a “Get Out of the PE Mile Run” Pass!
